Lace up your running/walking shoes and mark your calendars because the RUN TO END OVERDOSE Virtual 5K is right around the corner! August is Overdose Awareness Month & it will be honored in a special way this year! On Saturday August 29th, we will be completing a 5K and raising money for the non-profit Zoe Freedom Center.
Zoe Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit that is helping people to find freedom from addiction. Through counseling, tutoring, encouragement and education both in individual and group settings their goal is to help people find their self worth & purpose in life so that they may live it to the fullest. Zoe Freedom Center also provides education and training in how to recognize an overdose along with how to safely administer Narcan & save a life. To learn more about Zoe Freedom Center and what they do please visit: www.zoefreedomcenter.org
This run is completely free but we do ask that if you can, please consider a donation of $25 to Zoe Freedom Center. Your donations will support and help fund our Narcan Education & training classes where we provide people with free live saving Naloxone.
Getting started is easy to do, and it's fun. We'll even give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help, I know we can reach our campaign goal by August 31st!
